In 1996, the Latin American Travel Association was created to develop better working relationships and improve communications with Latin American travel businesses and to promote Latin America as a tourist destination. Over the years LATA has grown from strength to strength and the LATA community stretches to every corner of Latin America and throughout the UK and Europe. The association, now an authoritative voice for Latin American travel and tourism, continues to promote the region, help build valuable business relationships and support good business practice.
Last year saw the birth of Experience Latin America, LATA’s unique travel trade show, dedicated to Latin America. We maintain the same principles that we did 24 years ago and our mission is to expand and diversify the European travel market to Latin America, showcasing the very best suppliers from across the region.
